Hapy Halloween Cards and Making Memories

My tutorial today is how to make this banner without a stamp. Not a problem. Just take some 1" squares of different colors of your paper scraps. (They really can be any sizes depending on what you are placing them on or what you are making with them). The biggest thing is to find the center at the bottom of each of the squares. Cut a diagonal line from the top left corner to the center mark and then do the right.
I used scraps of Making Memories Toil and Trouble paper. (You know that is all I ever get is the scraps that my wife leaves behind for me to use) and made each of my cards. She suggested that I put my banner pieces up on pop dots to give it more dimension instead of just gluing it flat. I must say she was right :) I also did a corner round on this card and on the following card.
I found the corner rounder laying on her scrap table and thought hmm.... wonder what this does. My little skeleton I just cut from the bottom of a piece of the Toil and Trouble paper and glued it to my card. I stamped my sentiment and placed it on some of those pop dots. My wife added the stitching around the outside edges of the 4 squares. We agreed it just needed just a little more.

Wonka Exceptions meets Graphic 45 Sunflower Jar

Yesterday I shared with you on how I made these fabulous bottle caps. Today I am going to show you the fabulous jar I made using an empty jalapeno jar. This is the top of the jalapeno jar. Just simple but yet nice by adding a bow and a few buttons.
Again,, here is the tag and I wrapped the rim of the jar with some pretty plaid and blue ribbon.
I used one of the bottle caps and a piece of the Lallapalooza Paper and some Doddlebug rubons for the tag.

Here is the finished jar. It is really hard to photograph a jar but it is filled with hulled sunflower seeds. You can put anything in your jar so don't throw them out. Remember to save those bottle caps they make wonderful embellishments for your tags, cards and scrapbook pages. Recycling is a good thing.

Wonka Exceptions meets Graphic 45 Bottle Caps

I took a Wonka Exceptions Fruit Marvels Candy can and transformed into a gift container for my Graphic 45 Bottle Caps that I was giving as a gift I used the Lollapalooza Papers and the musical paper is from Pink Paisley Mistletoe Collection.
After I punched my circles and got them glued into the inside of the bottle caps I then put Glossy Accents over the punched circles. I allowed it to dry and then done it again. This will take some patients because you have to allow each layer to dry completely.

I made this cute tag to place on my jar of sunflower seeds, the jar is an empty jar from some jalapenos that we used up. Come back tomorrow I will show you the wonderful jar that I made :)
